Welcome to my Classic Designs home page. I opened my upholstery business in Albuquerque in 1981 with a focus on quality workmanship. My services and specialties include furniture reupholstering, custom cushions and pillows, and expert antique restoration. I sell decorative upholstery fabrics and upholstery leathers from internationally known fabric houses and leather suppliers.

Reupholstering
Recycling your old furniture is both practical and environmentally friendly. A professional reupholstering job will make your old furniture look and feel like new. Local in-home estimates are free of charge, and I am always happy to provide references upon request.
Cushions & Pillows
I make new cushions and pillows in any size and style using only the best grades of high-resiliency (HR) foam, Dacron cushion wrap, Dacron fiber fill, and goose feather and down blends.
Antique restoration
I employ “old-school” methods of rebuilding and restoring 19th and 20th century antiques. My approach to antique restoration is to keep all original components intact, and in some cases, restore the furniture to its original condition by constructing a new “double-stuffed” seat or back when requested by the client.
Fabrics and leathers
I buy from numerous national and international fabric houses that offer an almost endless selection of quality upholstery fabrics and upholstery leathers.
